Ideal temperatures:
The temperature settings of the retail outlet’s HVAC system, needs to be in sync with the general weather conditions outside the shop. The ideal temperature that the shop should be maintained at during summer is 80°F with a relative humidity of 55%. In winter, the recommended temperature is 65°F. Timers can be used to initiate start and stop cycles to automatically regulate the temperature within the shop.

Using fans:

Doors should be kept closed in order to preserve the room temperature, especially doors leading outside the premises. Exhaust ventilation should be utilized only when required.

In order to do that the building’s insulation should be capable of keeping unwanted external air mixing with the interior environment. This is done by checking the insulation of the outlet. Outside air leaks should be plugged by using low expanding foam. Cracked windows should be fixed promptly to prevent any escape of cool air or vice versa. Windows should be equipped with blinds or films to cut down the radiant heat effect of the sun.
