Saving Energy on Heating Costs in Schools

Energy consumption in schools:

On an average, schools spend up to 12% of their energy bills on the cost of heating the school premises and up to 70% on cooling it. Heating and cooling of the school premises is affected by heat loss or gain from the outside of the building and heat retention or gain from within the building. Reducing heat losses or gains from the school building will help ensure that the energy spent on heating and cooling is reduced.
